Equipment
Dumbbells only go up to 10 kgs and there’s an adjustable bench. However, there’s also a set of adjustable dumbbells with plates allowing you to go slightly higher.
There’s also a Smith machine with weight plates totaling just above 220 lbs/100 kgs.
In terms of cardio equipment, there’re two stationary bikes, two treadmills, a cross-trainer and a rowing machine.
Accessories include exercise mats, an exercise ball, a sandbag (33 lbs/15 kgs) and some dual-grip medicine balls.
Does the hotel gym offer complimentary towels? Yes.
Does the hotel gym offer complimentary water? Yes.

Complimentary water is available from a dispenser just outside the hotel gym and complimentary towels are available from the desk just next to it.
Opening hours are 7am to 9:30pm from Monday to Thursday, 7am to 10pm on Fridays, 8am to 10pm on Saturdays and 8am to 8pm on Sunday!? Why not just make the hotel gym available 24/7!?
Equipment is fairly new and well-maintained and the hotel gym itself appears somewhat clean although the floor and mirrors could use a cleaning.
It isn’t possible to open any windows, but there’s an AC installed in the ceiling. However, the remote control is at the desk outside the hotel gym…
Seeing a Smith machine in a hotel gym is always a plus – and a surprise. However, and I don’t mean to be rude, I’d probably prefer that they had a wider range of dumbbells and a dual cable machine instead.
It would also have been nice if the hotel itself would enforce “gym etiquette”… I don’t think the hotel is supposed to be a “family hotel” – but even if it were: Kids shouldn’t be allowed in the hotel gym – period. Even families seemingly coming just to check out the facility wearing nothing like gym clothes decided to try the equipment just for fun!?
There’s an indoor pool next to the hotel gym. It has a sauna and a hot tub. However, the hot tube has lukewarm water which kind of defies the purpose…
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Not sure… The hotel gym is surely above averagely equipped, but I’d probably try and find better alternatives seeing that the dual cable machine is missing and the opening hours limit your options!
