There’s an insane selection of dumbbells with a handful of adjustable benches including the decline options.

There’s also a fully equipped cable machine with a nice selection of handles.

There’s an excellent range of pin-operated machines – for example, seated leg presses, lat pull-downs, chest presses, leg curls, leg extensions, abductors, adductors and rear delt flys.

There’re loads of cardio options including several cross-trainers, treadmills and stationary bikes.

This hotel gym is actually located on the cruise ship, the Carnival Vista, currently sailing out of Galveston, Texas.

The available equipment surely covers all bodyparts.

The view from the hotel gym is beautiful, as it’s on the 12th deck overlooking the bow.

Pro Tip: The gym doesn’t open to guests until 7am, but if you want to workout earlier, doors are always unlocked so crew members can access the gym anytime. Just be courteous to any crew members who’re in there if you enter before guest times begin, since you’re intruding on their crew time. Yield the benches and equipment to them, and it’ll all be ok. If you’re a jerk about things, they’ll call security and you’ll be asked to leave and come back after 7. I had some awesome conversations with crew members and learned a lot about the ship and enjoyed training with them each morning I was on board.
