Kettlebells seem to go up to 50 lbs/22 kgs, dumbbells seem to go up to 45 lbs/20 kgs and there’s a fair of adjustable benches as well.

There’s also a fair selection of pin-operated machines – for example, seated leg presses, leg extensions and lying leg curls.

There’s also a chin-up/pull up and dip station as well as a dual cable machine, a barbell bench press setup and a TRX area.

As for cardio equipment, there’re four cross-trainers, three stationary bikes, a stair-master and a rowing machine.

Accessories include foam rollers, medicine balls, an exercise ball, a Bosu ball and exercise mats.

Some equipment and machines are definitely due for an upgrade, but I was still able to get great workouts in each day at this hotel.

The staff was very helpful and encouraging.

The water stations were clean and fresh, cooled towels were available, and the hotel gym had direct access to the pool, spa, and sauna.

The lap pool can be accessed from an indoor portion of the building for inclement weather, but the entirety of the lap pool was outdoors.

Views from the treadmills and stationary bikes included the pool, very pretty landscaping, and some historic buildings off in the distance.

Opening hours were stated as being from 5am to 10pm, but when we asked, we were informed it was 24/7.
