If you’re more into throwing weights around there’s a decent range of dumbbells as well as some weight-based machines.

The hotel gym mainly focuses on (old) cardio equipment. However, the traditional multi-gym and the selection of dumbbells (although somewhat limited) allows for a bit of weight training as well.

This hotel gym is the coldest hotel gym I’ve ever used! If you don’t want to freeze your butt of, I suggest that you dress warm!

Probably not – the equipment is somewhat worn out and limited which might lead me to look for other options.

Opening hours from 6am until midnight gives you enough time to get your workout done regardless of how busy you might be!

The hotel gym is accessible via your room key 24 hours every day.
If the hotel was to invest in a barbell bench press as well as a squat rack, the gym would be close to perfect!
In many cases – maybe even all – the display on the cardio machines is only in Chinese which might be a problem if you’re on a long-term cardio mission – and doesn’t use it just for warm-up?

It’s super likely – the gym is close to perfect – but maybe also what you’d expect from a Sheraton hotel?

The hotel gym has spinning bikes, cross trainer and treadmills – two of each. All of the, but especially, the bikes and the cross trainers seem super wobbly and somewhat worn out.
The same goes for the fancy-colored multi gym in the center of the “room”.
The only somewhat decent equipment is the dumbbells, but the range is limited.
Everything is strangely crammed together in the corner revealing little recent usage.

The overall impression of this hotel “gym” is that it’s close to useless.
It’s simply set up at the “outside balcony” of the end of what appears to have been a regular room when the hotel first opened. The “balcony” is “sealed off” but the area is still left rather freezing.

In terms of weight-based training, dumbbells range from 6 to 22 kg, there’s a solid range of machines including a Smith machine.

Upon entering the hotel gym, it seem a bit strange with the big colorful carpet – it’s not something you see in many gyms. However, it wasn’t sticky or smelly.

The gym was pretty well equipped and since the rooms aren’t too expensive, it’s very likely!1

Although there were no barbells available, the selection of dumbbells was quite good. There’s even a cable machine and some other weight based machines which surely allows for a proper workout.
If you’re in the mood for cardio, there’re treadmills, stationary bikes, cross trainers and stair climbers.

Does the hotel gym offer complementary water? Yes.

Besides the hotel gym, there’s also a quite big indoor swimming pool.
