Comments
Really nice hotel with high quality service but the gym is just squeezed in with way too little space and equipment. When I was there, we were 8 people trying to work out, but we had to stand in line. The equipment is old and there are no mirrors either.

There’s a fair selection of cross trainers, treadmills and stationary bikes.
The hotel gym is also quite well equipped with machines – highlights being the barbell bench press which is lacking in most hotel gyms. Besides this, there’s also a cable machine and a Smith machine.
Dumbbells range from 2kg to 22kg.

Unlike many other hotel gyms which can be somewhat claustrophobic, this hotel gym is quite spacious due to the layout being a long “room” which seems to go on forever.
The hotel gym is open 24/7.

It’s surely very likely! With an extensive selection of cardio equipment as well as a cable machine, barbell bench press and a Smith machine, this hotel gym is pretty well equipped.

Besides a pair of bikes and treadmills, the cardio fanatics have to make do with a cross trainer.
If you’re looking for a weight-based workout, there’s a multi-gym in the corner. Although it’d allow you to do some basic exercises (since the number of available handles are somewhat limited), the range of motion seems off. As a result, you’re more or less left with dumbbells going up until 22kg.

(Some of) the cardio equipment is wobbly/worn out and the same goes for the multi-gym in the corner. As a result, you’re left with a limited number of dumbbells… Ideally, the hotel should install a squat rack, a bench press rack and a cable machine. There’s space enough and it would surely improve the overall impression of this hotel gym!

No – I’d probably search for other alternatives.
The hotel gym simply isn’t well enough equipped.

If you’re in the mood for classic cardio, there’s a pair of bikes, three cross-trainers and a handful of treadmills.
In case you’re looking for a weight-based workout, there’s around a handful of the usual machines, dumbbells going up until 25 kg and kettlebells going up until 20 kg. There’s also a cable machine with a nice range of different handles securing the possibility of many different exercises.

The gym is open 24/7 – and is located on one of the top floors allowing for a pretty amazing view out over the sea while working out.

Yes – that’s very likely! The hotel gym is fairly well equipped – and conveniently located nearby Pu Dong airport.
