This hotel gym has everything you need to do a killer workout!
The cardio section consists of stationary bikes, treadmills and cross-trainers.
There’s a huge area with pin-operated machines! There’s even a Smith machine, a cable tower, a bench press station (flat as well as incline) and a cross-fit inspired area with monkey bars and squat racks, etc.
There’s a great selection of dumbbells (2 to 55 kgs), kettlebells and barbells (10 to 50 kgs) as well.

This hotel gym also belongs to the other Iberostar hotels there: Iberostar Punta Cana and Iberostar Selection Bavaro.
It’s open every day, although only in the morning, from 7am to noon.
Due to COVID-19, temperature checks are carried out upon arrival, you’re handed distance markers and there’s a 12-person maximum. However, no masks are required.

There’re cross-trainers, treadmills and stationary bikes.
They have dumbbells and adjustable benches and there’s even a cable machine as well as weight-based machines covering lat pull-downs, chest and shoulder presses and rear delt or chest flys.

The equipment was all very new. There was enough equipment to get a complete workout in if you know what you are doing. There’re plenty of cardio machines and even a set of cables with a pullup bar.
Although there’s a fair selection of dumbbells, one 9 kg and one 11 kg dumbbell were missing.
There’re very large locker rooms for men and women which are attached to an outdoor pool and spa.
The gym closes at 6pm due to COVID-19 but that was the only downside.
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Yes, I would stay here again as this was an exceptional hotel gym for downtown Los Angeles.
