There’re all sorts of machines including leg presses, leg curls, leg extensions, lat pull-downs, shoulder and chest presses.
There’s also a cable machine, a solid selection of dumbbells (up to 22 kgs), kettlebells and medicine balls and adjustable benches.
 
The cardio section consists of a pair of stationary bikes, four cross-trainers and more than a handful of treadmills. Added bonus is that this area of the hotel gym is facing the ocean!
 
There’s a separate room with spinning bikes.

Comments
The staff is super friendly and constantly cleaning the facility.
Due to COVID 19 regulations, there’s currently a maximum of guests allowed in the hotel gym. The gym never got super crowded during the time of my visit.
 
They also offer workout classes every morning.

The hotel gym is very small and with limited equipment.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, you can only access the hotel gym after contacting the front desk.

No – I was only staying at this hotel due to my husband’s work. Due to the limited equipment, I found a real gym and did my workout there instead.

Nothing they had interested me. No Bosu or balance balls, no weighted balls, no dumbbells, no bands – nothing!

No, I wouldn’t – it only had cardio equipment which doesn’t interest me at all!

Holiday Inn Express

Cardio-wise, there’s a cross-trainer, a stationary bike and a treadmill.
 
Accessories include a Bosu ball, exercise mats and an exercise ball.

This hotel gym is small, but it offers a large variety of weights, which is a must if you’re a lifter like me and don’t want to bring your dumbbells along to every trip.
 
There isn’t a lot of room in this gym, but it gives you all the equipment you need to get a stellar workout in without having to pack your own dumbbells! The majority of Holiday Inn’s I’ve stayed don’t have dumbbells at all, so this one’s a rare gem!

Machines include shoulder press, chest press, assisted/un-assisted pull-ups/dips, leg press (including the plate-loaded option) and leg extension/curl as well as a cable machine. They even have two Smith machines! There’s also a nice selection of dumbbells and barbells.
 
There’s also a lot of cardio equipment including rows of treadmills and cross-trainers and a handful of Peloton bikes.

A very nice hotel gym! Spacious, very clean and bright.
It’s the nicest hotel gym in the US I’ve been to – based on equipment available, size and cleanliness.
It felt like a mini gym experience rather than an at home office gym (typical for a hotel). The weight equipment wasn’t crowded – generally, several people could workout at the same time and still keep proper distance.
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Yes! With COVID going on, we’ve missed going to the gym. This hotel gym was a big influence in why I selected this hotel for our vacation.
Overall, very happy and impressed! I wasn’t disappointed in anything.

Although there’s a solid dumbbell rack in the hotel gym, all actual dumbbells were missing – mostly removed due to the COVID-19 situation.
 
Accessories include exercise balls, a Bosu ball and a foam roller.

The hotel gym is open 24/7.
There’re disinfecting wipes as well as a wall mounted hand sanitizer.
 
Unfortunately, the fitness center’s malfunctioning treadmill is a danger to anyone wanting attempt to use it. I tried to get a run done on the treadmill twice, and both times the treadmill stopped working within a minute of being turned on. Turning on the treadmill, it lurked forward and the treadmill belt moved slowly and made a low whining noise. As I increased the treadmill speed, the whining sound became louder until the belt stopped moving.
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
No – the malfunctioning treadmill was a huge disappointment.

There’s a solid selection of barbells and dumbbells as well as adjustable benches.
 
The cardio area consists of six cross-trainers, around ten treadmills and three stationary bikes.

The hotel gym is huge, spacious and with all kinds of well-maintained equipment.
The roof top pool is just outside the hotel gym giving you a nice view of the ocean – especially from the cardio area.
The hotel gym is open 24/7.

Yes! It’s the biggest hotel gym I’ve ever seen and it wasn’t lacking anything. It was very impressive!
