In terms of cardio equipment, there’re two treadmills, two cross-trainers and two spinning bikes.
 
Pin-operated machines include leg-extensions, kick-backs, lat pull-downs, shoulder-presses, back extensions and seated rows. There’s also a cable machine and a Smith machine with up to around 70kg of plates.
Dumbbells range from 2-20kg and there’re a pair of adjustable benches as well as exercise mats, an abs crunch machine and a bench for sit-ups.
 
Does the hotel gym offer complementary towels? No.
Does the hotel gym offer complementary water? Not sure.

This hotel has a relatively large hotel gym equipped with a range of weight machines, cardio machines and free weights. The equipment is old but it is mostly in good, working condition. However, I noticed that one of the cable machines was broken.
 
The hotel gym wasn’t open during my visit (due to the COVID-19 situation) so I didn’t get a chance actually use the hotel gym. As a result, this review is purely based visual aspects on the hotel gym.
 
There’s good lighting as well as air-conditioning and the equipment appears clean.

In terms of cardio equipment, there’s everything from treadmills (including the curved versions) and assault bikes to spinning bikes, cross-trainers and even stair-masters.
 
If you’re looking for a weight-based workout, there’s a Smith machine, a huge selection of dumbbells (including adjustable benches), barbells and kettlebells as well as slam balls and even cable machines.
They also have pin-operated machines like leg press, hamstring curls and lat pull-downs.
 
Does the hotel gym offer complementary towels? Yes.
Does the hotel gym offer complementary water? Yes.

The cardio section includes treadmills, stationary bikes, cross-trainers, ski ergs and there’s even a stair-master.
 
If you’re looking for a weight-based workout, there’s an entire area with squat racks and barbells and there’s a solid selection of dumbbells (2 to 27kg) including different adjustable benches too. They even have a tire flipping machine!

There’re five or six big tv screens and they have everything except a rowing machine.
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Yes! I’m training for a competition and that’s why I chose this hotel because I knew that I would be able to do a complete training there. I really liked it!

There’s a fair selection of dumbbells and an adjustable bench.
In terms of machines, there’s a cable machine with a fairly nice selection of handles as well as a leg-press machine and an ab machine.
 
If you’re in the mood for cardio, there’re two cross-trainers and a stationary bike.

Does the hotel gym offer complementary water? Yes.

I thought the layout was good for the small space – it was relatively roomy: There were five of us at one point and still it didn’t feel crowded.
 
The super padded flooring makes it a bit odd to walk on but overall it’s a nice clean gym.
 
They offer disposable headphones and opening hours are from 5am to 10pm.

It would’ve been nice if they’d had a cable machine – I was surprised to see they didn’t.
However, it was at least nice to see they had dumbbells since I don’t do a ton of machine-based cardio.
 
I definitely would’ve liked to see exercise mats and kettlebells!

This is the worst hotel gym out of the hundreds I’ve ever been to! It’s insulting! It’s like they threw the thing together simply to be able to claim that they have a hotel gym…

The hotel gym is located on the hotel’s top floor which gives you a great view of Milan whilst working out.
 
The weight-stack of the multi-gym goes up to 90kg and it’s a great piece of equipment in perfect working condition. You can do a good variety of exercises with it!
 
There’s a little bit of floor space but no exercise mats.
 
There’s a cleaning station, mirrors and good natural lighting. The big downside, other than the lack of equipment, is that there’s no air conditioning and only two windows that open slightly making it very hot in the gym.
 
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
No, it was enough for a couple of days but I wouldn’t choose stay here again because of the hotel gym.

With the available machines, you can do lat pull-downs, biceps curls, shoulder presses, chest presses, leg curls/extensions and seated rows.

The treadmills overlooked the pool area outside which was nice.
I did see quite a few people using the hotel gym when walking past it. However, it was never over-crowded.
 
I liked the variety. However, the sauna and hot tub was out of order at the time of my visit which sucked. It was also disappointing to see that there weren’t any dumbbells.
