Dumbbells go up to 35 lbs/16 kgs and there’s an adjustable bench as well. However, it doesn’t decline.
 
In terms of cardio equipment, there’re two cross-trainers, two treadmills and a stationary bike.
 
Accessories include an exercise ball and four small exercise mats.

The hotel gym is open 24/7.
The complimentary water comes from the water fountain outside the entrance.
The hotel gym is clean, and I loved the huge mirror.
I was sad to see they didn’t have a cable machine and an area to do core workouts. Other than that, I guess it’s suitable for a few days.
The dumbbells don’t get heavy enough.
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Not sure. The hotel gym is too small, and the limited equipment means that I have to revamp my entire workout routine. It also means I’m having to fill the gap with cardio which I don’t really like.

Meliá Milano

There’s a great selection of pin-operated machines such as lat pull-downs, leg extensions, shoulder presses and chest presses.
There’s a back extensions “machine” and a bench press setup as well. There’s a fair range of weight plates and there’s even an EZ bar and a triceps bar.
There’s a dumbbell rack (from 8 to 36 lbs/4 to 16 kgs) and a couple of adjustable benches including the decline version.
 
As for cardio equipment, there’re two stationary bikes, a cross-trainer and three treadmills.

Does the hotel gym offer complimentary water? Yes.

The equipment is nice and in very good condition.
The hotel gym is open 24/7.
Dumbbells are sanitized and wrapped after use.

Yes, I would stay here again as the hotel gym has everything needed for a good workout.

As for cardio equipment, there’s a spinning bike, a stationary bike, a cross trainer and a treadmills.

Opening hours are from 7am to 8pm.
This hotel gym is really too small and under-equipped.

Dumbbells go up to 50 lbs/22 kgs and there’re three adjustable benches.
There’s also a cable machine – although the version which only comes with D handles and straps for leg exercises. However, it still possible to get a solid workout in.
 
In terms of cardio equipment, there’re two Peloton bikes, four treadmills, two cross-trainers and two stationary bikes.
 
Accessories include foam rollers, exercise balls, medicine balls and elastics.

Does the hotel gym offer complimentary water? Yes.

The hotel gym is accessible 24/7 with your room key.
It’s an excellent hotel gym perfectly located in the hotel: Situated on a corner with wraparound glass for a wonderful view of the surrounding area.
The hotel gym itself is spotless with excellent and up-to-date equipment.
They even offer cold wet towels in addition to dry towels.
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Yes, undoubtedly! I would definitely stay there again.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort

There’s a nice selection of dumbbells with lots of high weights – up to 100 lbs/45 kgs.
 
The gym had cross trainers, stair masters, and rowing machines in addition to a row of treadmills. In the weights section it included everything you need for a solid workout: a shoulder press, chest press, leg press, leg extension, leg curl, and a lat pull down machine. However, several machines surprisingly had signs saying, “out of order”.

The surprise to me was that the weights went as heavy as they did – often hotel gyms only go up to 50 lbs/22 kgs, but their weight racks went up to 100 lbs/45 kgs. The lighter weights (5 lbs/2 kgs to 30 lbs/13 kgs) were in constant demand in the morning. There were actually some people using the heavier weights, which was fun. However, it would’ve been more helpful to have more of the lower weights, and maybe go up by 10 lbs/4 kgs on the heavier weights, as they were in less demand.
 
The lat pull-down machine wasn’t my favorite type. Since the leg press was the kind of leg press where you’re pushed back rather than pushing the weights away from your body which limits the range of motion, nor was it my preferred leg press machine.
 
Cleanliness was very good, and they had many fresh towels, sprays to wipe down equipment, and options of pre-moistened cleaning wipes.
 
The gym was extremely crowded every morning we used it, and it gets pretty hot in there with masks required.

Yes, it’s a great hotel gym!
