Comments
It’s a very well-equipped hotel gym although cardio bunnies might not find what they’re looking for. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hotel gym with 35 kg dumbbells!

It’s a bit odd that there aren’t any towels or water, but you can just bring this from your room.

The hotel gym is open from 6am to 10pm. You have to pay 20 DKK for a two hour access pass. It was a bit surprising that they charged you for using the gym but then again, the money is – apparently – used to secure the quality of the equipment which seemed pretty obvious.

Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Yes, it’s extremely likely! It would be great if all hotel gyms were this well-equipped! It’s impressive how well they’re using the limited space.

In terms of weight-based machines, there’re all the usual ones: shoulder press, chest push, leg press, etc.
There’re cable machines, a Smith machine and a squat/bench press rack. The number of weight plates is plentiful, dumbbell goes up until 32kg and kettle bells up until 24kg.

As for cardio, there’re treadmills, cross trainers, rowing machines, stair masters and spinning machines.

Comments
The opening hours are somewhat limited seeing that the gym doesn’t open until 9:30am and closes at 9:30pm. If you contact the service center, it’s likely that you can persuade them to allow you to enter from 8am. However, it’s seems pretty fixed that the gym closes at 9.30pm or 10pm.

Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
If you’re staying at Lalandia, you’ve more or less bought a package deal which means that it’s not likely that you’re willing to venture outside the area to look for a better gym.
That being said, the gym is surely above average. However, seeing that you have to pay 50 DKK to enter, you would expect towels and water to be complimentary – especially considering that you can drink the latter off the tap.
