There’s a squat rack, a bench press setup and the usually pin-operated machines including a big selection of dumbbells – the heaviest being 68 kg!
 
There’s even a climbing wall!

It’s a very well-equipped hotel gym. However, the big downside is that masks are mandatory – even if you’re doing cardio!? However, not once in 3 hours did I see them clean or wipe down machines.

Great open space to move around.
Not the normal small Hampton Inn fitness center. Treadmill didn’t slip!

I missed the 5 kg dumbbells for certain exercises and it would’ve been nice if they’d had gym mats, kettlebells and a cable machine.

No! Although the available equipment got the job done, I definitively wouldn’t stay at this hotel again because of the hotel gym.

As for weight-based equipment, there’re the following machines: leg press, chest press, lat pull-downs, seated rows and leg extensions. There’s also a cable machine, a nice range of dumbbells and three adjustable benches.
 
The cardio section is quite big with five treadmills, two cross-trainers, two stationary bikes and two Peloton bikes.
 
They have exercise balls, yoga mats and medicine balls as well.

The hotel gym is open 24/7.
It’s over-looking the outdoor pool.
 
I missed barbells, and maybe an abductor/adductor machine.
There’re only two kettlebells and they’re very light, but it’s still okay for a hotel gym.

The hotel gym is very clean and spacious and open 24/7.
 
I liked the kettlebell and resistance bands options in particular. I haven’t seen kettlebells at too many hotel gyms.
 
Honestly, there wasn’t a lot of variety but I liked the non-machine options with the Thera bands, weights, weighted balls and kettlebells.
 
Based on the hotel gym, would you stay at this hotel next time you’re in the area?
Yes – this would be a really good option if I were to return to the area.

There’s a lot of functional equipment which is super cool.

Yes – it’s probably one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever seen! I highly recommend it!

There’s also a cable machine. However, it lacked many of the usual handles which obviously limited its use.
 
Accessories include yoga mats, an ab wheel, a medicine ball, a skipping rope and a few elastics.

The equipment was fairly new, nice and not worn out.  
 
Equipment seemed clean but could use sanitary wipes or spray although none were available or convenient.
Floors we’re definitely in need of a vacuum and mopping and mirrors could be cleaned too.
 
The hotel gym is open 24/7 which was really nice.
Water bottles were available at the front desk but inconvenient to get to. There weren’t any towels which was a pain.

Hampton Inn fitness centers are very small.
I was happy to see that the treadmill was newer and didn’t have a slipping belt.
There’s a TV on the wall, in case you want a “distraction” while working out.
