If you want to build muscle, there’s a fair selection of different machines including a cable machine as well as a TRX system. Dumbbells go up to 23 kg.

The fitness center at the Boyne Mountain Resort is one of the best I’ve seen yet!
They have everything you need for a great workout while traveling.
Tons of space and tons of equipment.
Opening hours seem to be 24/7.
I would 10/10 recommend this place and will definitely be going back.
On the plus side, they even have a Lululemon next door and an indoor/outdoor pool.

There’s an adjustable bench and some dumbbells as well as a cable machine.

The equipment wasn’t too worn, but you could tell that updates don’t happen too frequently. There were a few exposed cables protruding from the floor at one of the stations.
The selection of dumbbells was sparse – maybe only four sets between the 2 to 20 kg sets available.

Not sure…
Although a five star gym doesn’t make or break my hotel experience, it would be nice to have access to a fitness facility that meets all my needs, e.g. a flat bench with barbells, more dumbbells to choose from and a TRX station.

A handful of weight-based machines like shoulder and chest press as well as leg press and a solid range of dumbbells including an adjustable bench.
There also accessories such as Bosu balls, different exercise balls, foam rollers and even boxes suitable for box jumps.

Eau Palm Beach was formerly a Ritz Carlton and as far as hotel gyms, it’s the best I’ve been in so far! This five-star resort surpassed my expectations!
The gym was spotless! Spinning room, barre/yoga studio and a variety of exercises classes were offered. Equipment was well maintained or on the newer side.
The design of the gym itself was very good and spacious. However, I would have liked more of a view. You could see outside but not directly.

W Hotels never disappoint!
The hotel gym is situated on the south side of the building with a view of the ocean and pool deck.
The gym itself was very clean. With a 10 person capacity it may be tight during peak times in a 500 unit hotel but I was there in the middle of the day and it was fine.
The hotel also offers roof top spinning class, beach yoga and boot camp on the beach.

There’re dumbbells up to 20 kg, kettlebells and an adjustable bench including exercise balls if you’re looking for a weight-based workout.
There’s even an Echelon Reflect screen if you’re in the mood for an interactive yoga, Pilates or boxing workout.

Lack of towels may be due to the Covid-19 situation.
I was there on a Sunday so it is not quite as clean as I would hope a gym to be but perhaps they are down staffed.
Being in Miami, I am only going to use the weights and do my cardio outside as there is no view in the gym.

There’s a dual arm cable machine that can be adjusted on either side and used with multiple attachments.
 
There’s a wide variety of cardio machines: Multiple tread mills, cross-trainers and stationary bikes. There’s even a stair master – not something typically seen in hotel gyms.

Equipment is very clean and up to date. No rips or issues with any of the padded surfaces.

A great and clean gym with new equipment and everything you could need.
 
It’s a little tight but they’ve used the space well. However, I can imagine it would be hard during busy season to find space to workout.
 
Dumbbells range from 1 to 23kg, kettlebells from 2 to 20kg and barbells from 10 to 50kg.
 
Opening hours are from 7am to 7pm but it would be much more convenient if one could access it earlier.
There’s also a lap pool available.
